Welcome to my third post. I am really glad to have embarked upon this journey and feels great to share my learning experience with all of you.

In this post, I will be sharing a very important online tool whose awareness and utilization is very much essential for any business to prosper. In today's digital age, data is the new oil, and its correct interpretation and visualization is of paramount importance for success of any business venture. 

To cater to this burgeoning demand, Google has come up with a tool called Data Studio, which is available as a part of the integrated business solutions on the Google Marketing platform. This tool enables businesses of all sizes to create detailed reports or high-level dashboards since it has the necessary tools to easily bring the data analysis together, create compelling visualizations, and share vital insights.

Business runs on data and use of Data Studio makes every bit of vital data accessible and useful, to help find and share the answers to most important business-related questions. Regardless of the data source, Data Studio possess the power to handle data from a variety of sources, ensure data authentication, access rights, and structure for use in various calculations, transformations, and data visualizations. It has pre-built data connectors, which allow for easy import of data from sources like Analytics, Google Ads, Google BigQuery, Campaign Manager, MySQL, and more.

This product can be effectively used to convert the raw data into the metrics and dimensions , which are very much needed to create easy-to-follow reports and dashboards. For example, its use can cleanse, combine, and transform all data to track traffic for websites, without writing code or creating SQL queries. These visual dashboards then can be used to learn in improving the website design for a better user experience. It is a well-known fact that the number#1 priority for marketers is to better understand the requirement of customers. Data Studio offers such tools which make it easy to achieve this understanding and model the product offerings accordingly.

Data Studio has its inherent advantages of being easy to use and its ability to get one initiated into analytics quickly. It is reported that data cannot be exported into a .pdf format and there are some automation related concerns.

For me, however, it is just the beginning of my journey into the intriguing world of analytics. I am  fully committed to drill further into this platform to understand this wonderful tool that helps in building elegant solutions to achieve necessary business goals by providing easy interpretation and visualization of data.
