Katani Dhaba
Katani Dhaba outlets in Chandigarh are highly rated. It is a great venue for casual dining and home delivery. The portions are generous for the delicious food offered.


The place is also famous for its sweet items like rasgulla and rasmalai. One can also head there for quick bites, the most popular being bhalla papdi chaat and champ tikka. The dhaba has been there for more than a decade and has been serving delicious North Indian cuisine at economical prices.

New Vaishno Dhaba

Hidden in quaint corner of Sector 16 is one of the most loved dhabas of Chandigarh, the New Vaishno Dhaba. The go to spot if you are in the city. 

The dal makhani, samosa, kadhai paneer and chana masala are a perfect solution to your innate cravings. The authentic taste of food, the prompt service, and pocket-friendly prices  make the foundation for their good reputation. 
Although they have a simple ambience, but they offer both indoor and outdoor seating.

Khalsa Dhaba

If the heart desires a traditionally hearty meal, this place will never disappoint you. 
Khalsa Dhaba offers some delicious North Indian Veg Punjabi dishes, and is famous for its legendary stuff that tastes like home.

The place has a simple ambience and is most crowded. The stuff to due for is the stuffed paranthas, dal makhani, paneer butter masala, chana masala and matka kulfi there. They provide a quick service, budget friendly and that is why ideal for students as well.

Babaji Ke Paranthe

An omelette blended in a parantha is itself an art. This gentleman at Babaji has this amazing skill and is happy to be providing this legendary stuff standing in the Service lane of Sector 16. 

The patrons are amazed more by the skill of this old man , and the taste is stunning as well.

Sector 22 Market

This is the place for college buddies, who are low on budget but are always high on hunger. It is the kind of destination which has become a shrine for some pleasant street food at midnight. 


This is the Tech Market of Sector 22, and is a must visit for the young crowd where one not only gets foods but also ideas of young minds who want to change the world !!!!

Aroma

A post drink scenario infuses some heavy hunger in our already irrigated system. Aroma is one place that kinds of fills this gap. 
The place is a bit full over the weekends, but the wait is worth your time. 

The flavored tea with aroma of spices served with a fluffy omelette is the core of the place. It is surely one of the best places to eat in Chandigarh.

Grand Punjab Restaurant

Almost everyone in North India is a devotee for the creamy Lassi and Kulfi. Here in the Grand Punjab Restaurant, Kulfi prepared by hand, and the toppings of pomegranate and pista is sprinkled upon it here. 


The legendary stuff is served in earthen pots, with a spoon to enjoy the cream at the bottom of it. Just try once, I bet you would be muddled up to choose between your appetite and taste.

Burger Point, Sector 32

It seems that there is some cosmic connection between mind and stomach since the former stops when the latter growls out of emptiness. Everyone has had this experience at some point in their lives since hunger drives one crazy. 

Whenever this happens in the City Beautiful, visit Burger Point. Their fast service ensures that you do not get irritated due to hunger and satiate your taste buds instantaneously. You hardly need to wait a minute or so. Prices are pretty reasonable, and variety of fillings / toppings / sauces is great to make these burgers a great appetizer.

Bawa Juice Corner, Sector 21

Bawa Juice Corner is a must visit outlet, especially with the young and young-at-heart. The provide variety of flavored sodas and patties. This is the best spot in the city for such kind of stuff!


They are overcrowded in the summers , but that is when one has the real need to get refreshed at this juice corner. Also, the choice of cheesy patties with their warm succulence, and the thick shakes,make it a must try place in all seasons.

So at the end of the day, when there is a need for instant refreshment,  turn to sector-21, and ask anyone there, you will have no trouble finding the place.
