Vadodara, the refinery and petrochemical hub of India, is one of the largest cities in the country and is a hub of the state's cuisine and culture. I began my career in the oil & gas sector in this lovely city located in the western state of Gujarat. The Britishers had named the city as 'Baroda', and this city has a lot to offer in terms of its fascinating history along with its lip-smacking food items. The range of restaurants and eateries is immense in this city, and one is spoilt for choice. So, rather than providing information on restaurants, this blog provides insights into the streets of Vadodara, where you will find classic and flavorsome Gujarati food. Welcome to part 2 of 2 of this series, which includes some of my personal favorites. There are many eateries offering pocket friendly food from the city of Chandigarh, but I have made this humble attempt to list out where I have been personally, tasted the grub, and wish that you too will visit soon !!! Some of the hidden gems to explore on a trip to The City Beautiful are : Garg Chaat, Sector-23 Please visit this place on an empty stomach since the crunch of the snacks will drive you crazy for more. The hot favorite is the crunchy crust holding the spicy water or creamy sauce that is the Golgappa!!!!
